Meet our Team

Hi I’m Sarah Ward, and I’m Head of HR at Meridian Business Support. I joined Meridian from a large multinational company, and what really appealed to me about Meridian was the friendly atmosphere and the realisation that Meridian is a place where your ideas will be listened to and that you can make a difference rather than just being another number.

It is obviously my job to care about our people as Head of HR, but it’s made easier by the fact that the rest of the SLT and our CEO all genuinely care about our people too, and this filters down throughout the business. There is a real family to feel to Meridian, and whilst people are expected to work hard, employee wellbeing and engagement are always at the top of the agenda, something which is reflected in our Best Companies 3-star accreditation.

I love working here, and that’s first and foremost because of the great people we have working for us. We have an ethos of “One Meridian”, and you do feel that you are part of one big team, creating an open, fun and family environment for our teams to work in. There is no real hierarchy either, yes, there is the SLT, but everyone is approachable and people here have a voice and are listened to.
