Experienced CAD Technician Wanted for Leading Design Office in Burntwood! Are you a skilled CAD Technician with a passion for precision and innovation? An exciting role awaits in a dynamic design office at a manufacturing company supplying the construction industry based in Burntwood. This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects across the UK, Nordics, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, and Belgium, providing a platform to showcase and expand your expertise. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm (37.5 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and modify tapered insulation layout drawings based on architects' drawings, customer sketches, or surveyor site dimensions.
- Perform thermal calculations for flat board and tapered insulation from provided information.
- Create itemised schedules of components for estimating and production use.
- Prepare drawings with delivery schedules and marked delivery areas.
- Communicate effectively with customers, architects, contractors, and the general public to discuss project requirements and provide guidance on relevant standards.
Skills and Experience:
- Educated to HNC, HND, or Degree level in a relevant construction or manufacturing discipline, or possess equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CAD Technician in construction, manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar. Experience with Drawing Express is desirable.
- Familiarity with U-value software like JPA or BuildDesk is advantageous.
- Experience with estimating tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce or Efficy is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
