CNC Machinist

Do you have experience working on CNC Machines?  For this role, it doesn't matter if your experience is limited, or if you have worked on them for a lot of your career, every skill level can be considered as training can be provided to those who have only had limited exposure.  We also don't need candidates with a specific skill or knowledge of a certain machine as again, full training is given.

This would include:

• Some experience of operating machines in a manufacturing environment
• Able to read an engineering drawing
• Basic maths and numerical skills
• A general engineering background
• Able to demonstrate previous experience of working to tight tolerances
• Working with metal

This role will be programming, setting and operating Fanuc control CNC machines.  You will be producing bespoke components to a high qualify for the customers.

This role is working Monday – Thursday 7.00 – 16.00 and Friday 7.00 – 13.00 and is based in Wincanton.

This is a permanent position and the the role pays £14.00 - £17.00 an hour depending on the level of experience.  If overtime is available, it is paid at time and a half.
