Meridian Business Support has an fantastic opportunity for a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join our clients outpatient therapy service in Bristol.
Duties include
- To provide CBT based assessment, formulation and treatment for people experiencing mental health difficulties.
- Undertaking and managing a clinical caseload in accordance with operational policy.
- Attend monthly clinical supervision to develop knowledge, skills, and promote access to clinical excellence.
- High levels of clinical governance are expected, including all documentation as required by the service
- To work closely with relevant other professionals as appropriate.
- To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerns the assessment, formulation and treatment plans.
- To undertake risk assessment and risk management of service users.
Requirements
- Doctoral Clinical/Counselling Psychology with BABCP accreditation or working towards this/ or registered health professional and BABCP Accredited.
- Assessed experience of working as a qualified CBT therapist/ or experience of working in mental health delivering CBT treatment.
- Able to deliver interventions to a wide range of clients
