Meridian Business Support are working on behalf of a Send SEMH school in Greater Manchester, they are looking to find a passionate PE teacher who can deliver NCFE Sports Studies to Year 10 and 11 students and the rest of the lessons would be delivering Core PE to their other students.
We are looking for a passionate P E teacher who are confident in delivering these subjects and managing behaviour that may be challenging.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality PE lessons that are engaging and fun for students
- Delivering 4 lessons of NCFE Sports Studies to Year 10 and 11 as well as delivering Core PE to other year groups
- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in core subjects tailored to individual need and abilities of students
- Provide comprehensive feedback to ensure development of students
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Developing and implementing EHCPs and individual learning plans for the students you work with.
- P E Teacher or have taught this subject if this is not your specialism
- Have qualified teacher status (QTS) in PE or experience teaching PE within schools or alternative provisions
- Be confident and experienced teaching a core subject
- Have strong classroom management skills and experience managing challenging behaviour
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be willing to undertake Team Teach training either before taking on the role or during the placement
- Have an excellent understanding of safeguarding
- Be available full time from September through to December 2024.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. (4 days a week)
