We are recruiting a Production Operative to join the Bridgwater site. We are a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide including 6 sites in the UK. Bridgwater is our largest plant.
As a Production Operative, you will join the production team where you will be working on a production line, overseeing our beverage filling machine. Reporting to the Shift Manager you will work as a team to fulfil the day-to-day production targets.

NO MACHINE EXPERIENCE - But you have worked in an FMCG or Manufacturing site ……you can still join us. We will provide all the training and get you up to speed in the first 6 months.

- 4 on 4 off Shift pattern –2 Days, 2 Nights 4 off – 12 hours shifts
- Day Shifts: 06:00 to 18:00 / 06:30 to 18:30 /07:00 to 19:00
- Night Shifts: 18:00 to 06:00 / 18:30 to 06:30 /19:00 to 07:00
- 22 days holiday (264 hours over the year)

Production Operative: Key responsibilities:
- Operating equipment/machinery and undertaking fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
- Management of Raw Materials in accordance with FIFO and Storage Procedures.
- Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
- Working as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
- Ability to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
- Participating in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits
- Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards
Production Operative: skills & attributes:
- Experience of working Machines within an FMCG environment
- Ability to problem solve, team player & a keen eye for detail.
- Great communicator with a “can do” attitude
