Resulting from the company’s rapid growth, my client is looking to recruit a Operations Sales Manager. The purpose of this role is to manage the quotations and sales within the operations side of the business.
Due to the nature of the operations department, the successful candidate will need to have experience and knowledge of Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) or the Oil and Gas Industry, underwater inspection industry or have worked within a company that has provided them with the understanding of operations at sea.
This role involves managing the full sales cycle from start to finish. You will coordinate and progress all opportunities and quotations that come through the business.
You will need to nurture existing customer relationships and add new customers to generate annual sales growth in line with the company business plan.
You will be provided with full product training, and you will be expected to fully embrace this.
To be considered for this position, you must live within a commutable distance to the head office in Yeovil. A relocation package can be discussed. You will be expected to work within the head office and work closely with the wider operational team.
You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in sales and the excitement that the sales cycle brings. This role involves picking up the phone, talking to your potential customers, building those relationships and naturing them to convert the opportunity to an order, as well as the commercial knowledge to provide accurate quotes to potential customers.
This role comes with an excellent salary of £60,000 - £100,000 plus commission, as well as great benefits. The salary will depend on the level of experience you can bring to the role.
