We are recruiting for a TIG Welder to join a niche manufacturer of heating solutions for the oil and gas industry based in Deeside. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 7am-4pm offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits!

As TIG Welder you will primarily weld End Terminations to assembled heater systems. We are keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

Proven track record demonstrating a sound ability to TIG weld numerous alloys and steels.
Pipe welding experience (especially thin dairy) in all positions would be advantageous.
Current coding, or expired coding is fine – must have some coding knowledge
Experience in welding and knowledge of copper-nickel alloys, stainless steels; austenitic and ferritic would be advantageous.
Knowledge of the use of helium leak detection is also desirable but not essential.
Deftness and attention to detail are key attributes that are required for the role which involves finesse welding of parts; some have a wall thickness less than 1.5mm.
Knowledge of welding gases and appropriate filler materials
Ability to read and understand welding procedures and technical documents
Operate power tools, especially angle grinders
Dye penetration flaw finding
Test and inspect own work to discover flaws in welded surfaces
