We have a small team of staff and often require agency cover to meet the service we provide . We use Meridian agency as they are extremely reliable, often contacting them at very short notice to get cover. Meridian not only provide cover, but they also try to take into account agency workers who have been here before, this enables the people we support to build a relationship with them and gain confidence. When booking staff from Meridian, they will send a one page profile of the person covering (if they are new to us) this is very important as we have someone at Orchard Bungalow who is on the Autistic spectrum and needs to know who is working and also what they look like, it’s also good for me as a shift leader to see what training the person has had so I know they are experienced. The staff Meridian have supplied us have been well trained, smartly presented and very professional with their conduct.
